Roses are a wonderful gift for anyone to receive. However, did you know that each color rose sends a different message? Before you send roses to someone chose a color that sends the right message. You wouldn’t want to send a certain color rose that is sending the wrong message.

For example, red roses have always sent the message of romance, love, respect, passion, beauty and courage. But when red roses are sent on Valentine’s Day the message is one of love, romance, and passion. Deep red roses and deep burgundy roses are the symbols for unconscious beauty. So if you send red roses to someone you don’t have feelings then you are sending the wrong color with the wrong message. Blue roses send the message that some is unattainable and are also the symbol for fantasy.

There two shades of peach each one with a different message. A peach rose speaks of sincerity, appreciation, gratitude or “let’s get together”. However a pale peach rose speaks of modest.

Lavender roses send the message of love at first sight or that you are enchanted with someone.

If you want to send farewell to someone send black roses. This color is also the symbol for death.

There are certain color roses that when combined send message as well. When red and white roses are combining they send the message of unity. If you want to send a jovial message or just happy feelings then send red and yellow roses combined.

Certain color roses in their bud form also send certain messages. To send the message of purity and loveliness send red rosebuds. The symbol for girlhood is white rosebuds which may be good to send a young girl on her birthday.
